Unicoc Promotes Academic Collaboration with Peruvian Institutions Through a Day of Innovation and International Dialogue

On March 20, 2025, as part of the collaboration between Unicoc’s Global, External & Social Affairs Office and the Colombian-Peruvian Chamber of Commerce and Integration (Colperú), the Bogotá campus hosted representatives from IDAT Institute and Zegel School of Business (Peru), accompanied by Dr. Josué Perdomo Ordóñez, Vice-Rector of Unigermana.

The visit featured academic and cultural sessions designed to encourage knowledge exchange, strengthen institutional ties, and promote collaboration between educational entities.

One of the key moments was the conference "Introduction to Disruptive Innovation: Opportunities and Challenges for SMEs in Artificial Intelligence and Innovation," led by the Center for Research and Knowledge Management. The session focused on how small and medium-sized enterprises are navigating technological change and emerging trends.

Participants also took part in a Prototyping and Design Thinking Lab facilitated by the Colombian College of Engineering, which offered a hands-on approach to agile methodologies for creative problem-solving. The day concluded with a Business Round Table organized by the College of Administrative and Economic Sciences, where strategies for negotiation and market analysis were explored from a global perspective.

This exchange reflects Unicoc’s commitment to building strong international partnerships and offering formative experiences that prepare students to engage in global environments with a well-rounded and collaborative approach.
